Android increases its leadership in the world

It’s Android operating system for smartphones leader in six of the eight countries considered key in the mobile telephony market. According to research firm Kantar Worlpanel Comtech, Symbian for Android Nokiafue was overtaken by Spain in the last quarter.

Of the 8 most important countries of the smartphone market, Android is a leader in the U.S. , United Kingdom, Japan, Germany, France and Spain. On Friday, Google announced that the company won a million new Android users in Europe alone during the last three weeks. Android’s participation in the UK rose from 1 percent to 9 percent market share since June last year to June 2011.Of the new customers Android 1.4 percent owned by former users of Apple’s iPhone.
